About

Michael Baah is a Ghanaian-born British strength coach who's spent over twenty years finding out what actually moves people, on a film set, in a boxing ring or in a hospital gym...

He left the Metropolitan Police after six years, where he represented the force in boxing at York Hall and Chelsea Barracks, fighting as far as New York and Dublin. That same discipline, the ability to read people and stay calm when it matters, followed him into fitness.

He's trained Love Island's Sophie Piper, Britain's Got Talent Golden Buzzer winner Kojo Anim and model Demi Rose, alongside talent across tv, music & film. He also works with busy professionals who'll never be on camera and just want to feel strong again.

The work he's proudest of happens away from any of that. As a qualified Oncology Exercise Specialist, Michael supports cancer patients through NHS and private healthcare pathways, helping them rebuild strength and quality of life during and after treatment. He's co-founder of Just Train, a community initiative offering free strength training to people affected by cancer.

He writes for Men's Fitness, Women's Fitness and British GQ.

Whether you're stepping in front of a camera, training for the body you want, or rebuilding your strength after a diagnosis that changed everything, Michael's approach is the same: meet you where you are, and help you get stronger from there.
