PT Terms: FAQ

Payment Terms

  • Kindly note that payment must be made in full before any training sessions commence.

  • All sessions are 45 minutes in length. Please contact me if you are going to be late for your session, as I have a strict appointment schedule to follow. If you are more than 15 mins late and have not contacted me to inform me. I will assume you are not coming and will consider that as a cancellation without the required 24 hours notice.

  • 1,12 & 24 pack products must have ALL sessions completed within the expiration months of the purchase date or they will be forfeited. You can find the expiry date of each pack on the price list. 

Cancellations

  • If you cancel or miss your session with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full session rate. Please respect the limited time I have in the day as I respect yours.

  • Daily training slots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and subject to availability.

  • All sessions MUST be confirmed 24 hours prior to starting otherwise your training slot will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis to my client base.

Refunds

  • If you are unable to continue your scheduled personal training sessions due to severe medical reasons, a refund may be available for the remaining sessions. You will need to submit a letter from your doctor clearly stating exercise restrictions prior to a refund being given.

  • Refunds are not provided under any other circumstances.

  • If your Personal Trainer is away on holiday, or sick leave, your pack will be extended for the duration of their absence. Refunds will not be given on sessions that have to be rescheduled under these circumstances

Injuries 

  • Should you experience any pain, discomfort, or injury, during any of your sessions, please inform your Personal Trainer immediately, who will ensure that appropriate action is taken.

  • Prior to, or during the course of your training, health concerns may arise that may require further input from your doctor, physiotherapist, or other allied health professionals. Your Trainer may request your assistance in obtaining that information.

  • Please be aware that your Personal Trainer cannot diagnose and/or prescribe treatment for any form of injury, disease, or other medical problem.

COVID-19

1.Social Distancing

If possible, try to keep two metres away from each other & other members at the gym. Due to gym closures and current government guidelines. All sessions will be held outside until further notice. 

2. Cleaning and Disinfecting

clean and disinfect anything we touch, or drip sweat on. Although it is already common practice to wipe down equipment after use, extra effort must be taken to disinfect all touch points. This includes the obvious: handles, upholstery and consoles, but could also now include all other areas that might be touched with the hands such as handrails, machine adjusters and resistance machine weight adjusters. 

3.COVID-19 Procedures

If you do contract the virus or come into contact with anyone that has. Please inform me immediately. Sessions will be postponed until further notice  

4.Hygiene Protocols

Hand washing on arrival is encouraged and avoid touching faces. Wearing a face mask is recommended on arrival, your trainer will wear one also.
